Ahern Rentals is looking for a Component Repair Technician for repairing components for our rental equipment fleet to Continue our tremendous success and unparalleled growth we are searching for a self-motivated individual to join the Bonanza Rebuild location to diagnose assemble and test core components for our organization. Incentive Package includes Competitive pay Paid Vacation Paid Holidays 401k Retirement Plan Benefits after the first of the month following 60 days will include Medical Dental Vision & Life Supplemental Insurance Options Available Employee and Customer Incentive Bonus Programs Essential Duties and Responsibilities Checking and sorting incoming cores Disassemble clean inspect and diagnose cores received Clean cores using solvents pressure washers scrapers etc Read interpret and follow assembly drawings diagrams and parts schematics to determine parts and assembly sequence Process paperwork tracking labor and parts Assemble components according to factory guidelines Works with staff to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed Test components and final inspection Maintain proper storage and identification of cores and component parts Complete tasks in an efficient manner to meet production requirements while maintaining quality standards Maintain a safe and clean work environment Other essential duties as assigned by management Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Qualifications This position requires a positive attitude fast paced personality serious work ethic excellent communication skills both written and verbally Must be able to read English and follow instructions in parts service manuals Must be prompt and able to work overtime if necessary Must be able to stand sit bend lie down and kneel repeatedly (standing 80%) Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs Must be a team player with strong time management skills and attention to detail Must be able to prioritize and perform a variety of tasks with varying levels of responsibilities while meeting deadlines Flexibility to work under pressure in a constantly growing and changing industry Must be able to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including Steel Toe Work boots Properly care for shop tools and equipment Basic computer skills preferred Must be able to read write and speak English Must be able to pass drug test and background check Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days) Apply www.ahern.com careers
