Luxor Hair Salon in Vancouver BC is looking for Hairstylists(Business Location 2173 West 41st Ave Vancouver BC) Position Hairstylist fulltime position (37.5hrs week) Number of Positions Three (3) Wage 13.50 to 14.50 per hour depends on experience Requirements -Minimum 3 years of hairstyling experience is required-Completion of secondary education is required-Hairstylist barber certificate is an asset-Completion of hair Design College or similar program is an asset-Good personality and team work skills required-Good interpersonal skill is required. Job duties-Style customer s hair by cutting bleaching tinting dying trimming curling coloring perming blow drying ironing and tapering-Suggest suitable hair styles to the customer based on customer s physical features-Must be professional using hair styling equipment including scissors razor iron and others.-Following a customer s hairstyle instruction and preference to style hair-Check a customer s hair and scalp condition and suggest provide basic scalp or hair caretreatment-Extend or style a client s hair with artificial hair styling materials-Clean and organize hair styling equipment-If the shop is busy may have to shampoo or rinse a client s hair-Ensure a customer is satisfied with the hair style Benefits 10 days paid vacation.
