I create decorative whimsical and eclectic furniture and home decor that can add interest to any room. My (not too) shabby designs are mostly rustic coastal cottage and boho chic inspired. I constantly search for materials with unique style and solid structure. I embrace imperfections while striving to create high quality handcrafted functional pieces. It is important to understand that all of these pieces are vintage antique or pre-owned and that some may have minor flaws that create texture and depth but do not affect the function of the item. I strive for perfection but nothing is ever perfect. I do my best to provide you with a quality item and am always learning new techniques that improve my process. Each piece has been carefully chosen cleaned sanded primed painted or stained and topped with several coats of sealer to provide extra durability. I also distress and or decoupage certain pieces to further enhance their design. I pay close attention to details and make sure to refinish the entire piece including hardware embellishments and drawer interiors and sides.Personally I don t want an entire house filled with whimsical items. I like to add a little personality to my home by mixing and matching traditional or contemporary d cor with charming handcrafted items. In other words I like to have a little fun while decorating. My pieces aren t designed to make a statement or be a showpiece.
