Director Eastin Center for Career Readiness

The Director is the primary liaison between the Spears School of Business and potential employers. The Director will pursue relationships with industry recruiters and managers to facilitate the development of internship and post-graduation employment opportunities for Spears students. The Director provides vision and leadership to the Eastin Center for Career Readiness while leaving oversight of day-to-day operations to the Manager. The Eastin Center for Career Readiness has three main functions 1) Corporate Engagement Recruiter Relations 2) Career Services and 3) Career Readiness for the Spears School of Business. Center staff support those functions by developing strategies for student professional development that improves placement rates and student careers facilitating connections between employers students and faculty and working in collaboration with OSU Career Services and Spears academic departments and other offices within Spears and Oklahoma State University. Some evenings and weekends are required to deliver events programs and meetings during the year. Travel is required to visit recruiters and potential recruiters around the country. Minimum qualifications Master s in Business Administration or related field and five years experience. Corporate or university experience with recruiting and placement. Excellent networking skills required. Must be able to develop and maintain relationships with recruiters faculty staff students and the general public. Must be able to develop overarching strategies and inspire subordinates to execute your vision. Strong service orientation and ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
