Millwright Machine Tool Mechanic - Akron Ohio - JOB 18-00008 Pay Range 17.00 - 23.00 HR Permanent Position with Benefits.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. Akron Ohio is seeking a Millwright Mechanic to dismantle repair reassemble install move & erect machinery in factories & power plants. REQUIREMENTSHigh School graduate with trade school and or experience as a machine mechanic Experience rebuilding mechanical machinery transmissions gears pulleys hydraulics pneumatics Align and test equipment and make any necessary adjustments Fit bearings align gears and shafts attach motors and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts Must have a good understanding of fluid mechanics (hydraulics and pneumatics) and all of the components involved in these processes such as valves cylinders pumps and compressors. Must have own tools and be willing to travel locally (within 2 hours) to include overnight as needed Must have a valid driver s license and be able to be insured on company policy Excellent medical benefits (prescriptions hospitalization dental eye ) with company matching IRA retirement plan Welding rigging CNC & manual machining and electrical controls experience skills are a plus Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
