Electrical Technician - Canton OH - Job 18-00006 Salary 20.00 - 25.00 HR Permanent Position with BenefitsOnly U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. A Canton based manufacturer has an immediate need for an electrician that is experienced with machinery maintenance and PLCs. The successful candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision in the wiring troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment. Direct experience with AB and Siemens PLCs is a must while any experience with variable frequency drives would be ideal. This is a day shift role that reports to the plant manager and holds the possibility of OT. Any experience with hydraulics pneumatics and or facility maintenance would be a significant plus.REQUIREMENTS Associates degree or technical school certificate Ability to read interpret schematics ladder logic diagrams etc. Demonstrated experience with automated machinery wiring troubleshooting and repair Experience with the troubleshooting and editing of AB and Siemens PLCs Ability to take on responsibility and work with minimal supervision Physical capability to climb kneel and stand for extended periods as required Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Salary 20.00 - 25.00 HR Permanent Position with BenefitsOnly U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
