A successful and growing Akron manufacturer of HVAC systems is seeking a junior electrical engineer for their team. The primary duties of this role will be the design of electrical panels for custom HVAC applications. Candidates must have a working knowledge of power systems up to 600VAC motor starters variable frequency drives power supplies and grounding requirements. Additional responsibilities will include the sizing of circuit breakers fuses wire actuators etc. as well as the layout of conduit and equipment for construction installation purposes.POSITION REQUIREMENTS BSEE BSET 1-3 years of applicable experience (new grads with associated internship experience will certainly be considered) Demonstrated AutoCAD skills and the ability to read controls drawings P& IDs single line diagrams etc. Basic understanding of UL NEC regulations and installation requirements Ability to perform all necessary calculations Working knowledge of BOMs and documentation required for installation Good communication skills and the ability to professionally interact with all internal and external stakeholders Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Salary 60 000 - 65 000 Permanent Position with Benefits Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
