Space is available now in my Licensed family childcare in Whittier Ca. This is an educational enrichment program for children 2 to 12 years of age in the city of Whittier bordering la mirada and norwalk.This is a year round program. We take 1 to 2 field trips per week and have 2 to 3 activities per day usually during school breaks for elementary and Middle School Students. Weekly trips to the park (weather permitting). Provider has an A.S. in Early Childhood Education a B.A. in Psychology and a Masters degree in Child Development and all the kids enrolled in elementary school have awards from their schools for all the hard work we do. We provide homework help daily in the afternoons during the school week and Preschool programming during the day for children younger than 5 years of age. High Scope Curriculum and Tender Care and Early Learning Curricula are used for the children in care. The curriculum covers the Arts Math Science Literacy and Language self help and social skill development. All meals and snacks are included and local pickup from Whittier area schools is also included at no extra charge within 6 miles from the child care. Educational and fun.
