Job IdentificationTitle Accounts Executive BookkeeperDivision Accounting & FinanceLocation 425 2nd Street SE Cedar Rapids IA 52401 Basic Function Analyze financial information prepare MIS Reports and maintain records of assets liabilities profit and loss tax liability and other financial activities. Supervise accounting function from company perspective ensuring compliance to processes in place. Reporting TO COO President Experience Desired 2 to 4 years of experience in finance or accounting position Essential Duties and responsibilities Preparation of MIS Reporting for strategic reviews by the management. Review of actual figures report variances and amending budgets. Ensure compliances with local state and federal budgetary reporting requirements. Analyze records of transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries in accounting software. Prepare Financial Statements with various notes and schedules as per US GAAP requirements. Report financials to management and advice about resource utilization tax strategies suggest utilization of resources to avoid revenue leakage. Develop implement modify and document budgeting cost general property and tax accounting systems. Computation of tax ensure compliance with tax payment returns other tax related compliances and representing before taxing authority. Establish table of accounts and assigns entries to respective accounts. Checking various contracts and prepare reports to substantiate payments receipts prior to settlement. Appraise and evaluate inventories property and equipment and record description value location and other information related to assets. Adapt to Current accounting system and record keeping functions. Other Duties As designated by Executive Management Other Knowledge Skills Abilities or Certifications Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings. Knowledge of Sage 50 (Peachtree). Knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) strongly preferred. Knowledge of contracting negotiating and change management. Knowledge of finance accounting budgeting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports statements and projections. Strong understanding and implementation of Business Modeling High proficiency in MS Office Suite (primarily Excel) Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule when necessary Preferred experience working in a small to mid-size company environment Thanks Sanjay Panjwani319 892 3186 202
