Coordinator Communications and Marketing

The Coordinator of Communications and Marketing works with OSU Communications University Marketing OSU Foundation OSU Research Communications OSU Alumni Association CAS web services students faculty administrators and the media to ensure appropriate news of faculty and staff accomplishments and College activities is published. Responsible for oversight of production of College publications. Write press releases articles and content for brochures and websites. Serve as publications resource and quality assurance for all administrative units of the College. Work with appropriate College administrators to develop publications and public information to recruit new students faculty and staff to the College. Create and edit video of news of the College and disseminate them appropriately to enhance the College s marketing efforts. Update College website media and social communication efforts. Supervise staff - including graphic designer and web designer student workers and interns in efforts related to the production of College communication and marketing material. Assist with special events such as CAS Hall of Fame Homecoming tailgate convocation and commencement. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Strategic Communications Public relations Journalism or related field. 3 - 5 years experience in public relations journalism or related field. Excellent speaking and writing skills. Preferred Qualifications Master s degree in Public Relations Journalism or related field. A degree from a CAS department at OSU.
