Job SummaryEfficiently operate the functions (including setup) required to create molded polymer products to acceptable production standards.Principal Duties and Responsibilities Weigh raw materials Trim molded polymer products Mold polymer products Inspect molded polymer productsThis is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all of the essential functions for purposes of the ADA.Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs) Must be able to work in a team environment where workload is shared and process improvement is a group process. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with high attention to detail. Must be able to lift or move molds weighing up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to read basic blue prints and perform precision measurements. Must be able to read write and perform basic shop math and follow detailed written instructions. Must be able to successfully complete On-the-Job Training and On-the-Job Performance stand for items A through H.Education Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience in one or all of the following skills molding trimming polyethylene and blast cabinet operation. Must make continuous progress as demonstrated by satisfactory performance of the following training steps A. Weigh polyethylene flake raw material B. Trim UHMWPE molded products C. Stamp UHMWPE molded products with identifying informationD. Perform computer applications for moldingE. Operate blast cabinetF. Operate molding Wabash pressG. Perform dimensional cosmetic and NDT inspectionH. Techniques on UHMWPE molded products
