We are looking for part time experienced unarmed security guards with excellent customer service and security skills to join our tight-knit and highly regarded elite team. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect deter observe and report. Duties will be performed at the KinderMender Pediatric Care Center Laurel Location 805 Washington Blvd Laurel Md 20707 Glen Burnie Location 7010 Ritchie Hwy Glen Burnie Md 21061 Monday through Sunday (5pm to 10pm) Holidays (8am to 6pm) Very competitive starting base salary of ( 13.50 to 14.50 hr) Official starting day 1 2 2018 Responsibilities Perform security check at entrances of building parking lots Protect patrons from harm Check ID refuse entry when necessary Execute security round checks Defuse potentially volatile situations and intervene when necessary Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter Report in detail any suspicious incidents Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property Protect company s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances Requirements Current MD Security Licence Clean Driving Criminal Record (No Felony Convictions) 1 year minimum experience Physical fitness is recommended but not mandatory Good interpersonal and communication skills Immaculate presentation (clean haircut shaved shoe shined) Willingness and ability to work a flexible roster 7 days a week possible CPR and First Aid Certified ASP and O.C.
