Visiting Assistant Professor - Library

As a Visiting Assistant Associate Professor OSU Library you will provide leadership and vision to grow our existing research data initiatives. You will develop partnerships with internal and external constituents to achieve the goals of the Library and institution in efficiently and effectively meeting the needs of today s researchers and adapt as those needs evolve. This is a new position that will allow you to shape these areas in a continually changing and dynamic environment. Although this position reports to the Associate Dean for Research and Learning Services the successful candidate is expected to work collaboratively across all library units. Required qualifications Master s degree in ALA-MLIS or related data-intensive programs. Professional experience with the research data lifecycle and the processes involved in managing research. Commitment to working with and engaging diverse students and colleagues within and outside the department. Strong organizational and leadership skills excellent communication ability collegiality and excellent interpersonal skills and an appreciation for diverse constituencies.
