Free Hospice Training with MSA

Come and take a FREE training class to be a hospice volunteer for one of Charleston s hospice providers. Learn about visiting with patients both at home and in facilities located throughout the Charleston Berkeley and Dorchester counties. Learn to do activities like patient bedside sitting active listening assisting with errands caregiver reprieve pet care reading & amp sharing hobbies or other special interests. Volunteers can also learn administrative duties and special projects activities assistance (bingo ice cream socials holiday-related events). Volunteering looks great on a job applications and college applications. Training dates are Friday December 1 8 & 15th and Friday January 5 12 19 & 26 from 9 am - 12 pm (Lunch is Provided) You must be 18 or older to attend the training.
