RN Clinical Specialist

Description Relocation Assistance Available - Travel up to 100% Coverage area - Sioux City Council Bluffs Cedar Rapids and Omaha NE The RN Clinical Specialists will provide clinical education and training for Clinical managers as well as evaluates and participates in all nursing and clinical management activities to ensure patient care staff relations and efficiency of service within the team. This RN leader will maximize utilization of Recover Health resources while promoting a positive and collaborative culture embedding our mission in every interaction. The RN Clinical Specialists may also support the branch as necessary as their Interim clinical leader. Primary responsibilities are 1. Coach train and mentor branch clinical leadership 2. Act as an interim Branch Clinical Leader Directs educational and health activities for the Recover Health staff members maintaining certifications and immunizations guidelines as set by the agency policy and procedures and state federal regulations Interim Clinical Manager responsibilities include interviewing hiring training and coaching (performance plans) all interdisciplinary staff planning assigning and directing work appraising performance rewarding and disciplining colleagues addressing complaints and problem solving 1 1 direct patient in-home care will carry various caseloads due to coverage patient census ebb and flow Acts as Branch Manager as needed to cover absences Monitors and manages client and family care as specified by the plan of care assessing appropriateness continuity service and quality of care Applies knowledge of clinical and administrative policies and practices communicates potential risk management issues and reports as required by law Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of employment Registered Nurse with experience in Home Healthcare Acute or public health services to help support the clinical demands a plus Experience in insurance such as Medicare Medicaid billing and reimbursement a plus OASIS and or coding experience a plus Benefits Medical Dental Vision Disability Life HSA FSA and supplemental products 401(K) w match Paid Time Off Vacation Sick Float and Holidays CEUs Job Shadowing Paid one on one patient specific training Flexible Schedules Competitive pay based on experience Job Type Full-time Job Location Omaha NE Required education Bachelor s Required experience Medicaid 3 years OASIS 3 years Medicare 3 years Required license or certification Registered Nurse (RN) Please send resume (in word) and job title that you are applying for to john.simien(at)outlook.com Thanks John Talent Acquisition Specialist
