Stewardship and External Relations Director

Position will be responsible for donor relations and engagement to increase membership and develop relationships by developing and implementing programs designed to grow membership portfolio as well as participation and attendance at pre- and post-season events. Work collaboratively with OSU Foundation fundraising professionals to develop relationships with existing and potential donors for the benefit of OSU Athletics. Develop programs to highlight the success of OSU Athletics teams and athletes. Normal work hours are 8 00 a.m. to 5 00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Hours beyond normal work schedule and on weekends are required due to events. Traveling in and out of state for Athletic events and functions is required. Minimum qualifications Bachelor s degree in Business Management or a related field. Five years of experience working in a higher education related field working with alumni donor customer relations and fundraising experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of computer software. Willing to travel and work unusual hours. .Excellent event management skills. Preferred Qualifications Master s degree in Business Management or a related field. Ten years of experience working in a higher education related field working with alumni donor customer relations and fundraising experience.
