Digital Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities include This role is responsible for managing the digital strategy and reputation management for all areas of the property. This includes the creation and implementation of a comprehensive strategy to engage online audiences and physical guests both reactively and proactively within an authentic brand voice in order to cultivate loyalists and amplify advocates. In addition this role will interact and coordinate directly with property sales marketing and revenue management teams to align with goals of traffic and revenue generation to hotels and property outlets. The position requires the enthusiasm to research and experiment with current and developing trends and platforms in order to differentiate the W brand and properties. The position is responsible for maintaining and monitoring each property s Reputation Management Index [RMI] and developing on brand systems strategies best practices and reports for monitoring the index. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Providing integral knowledge of social and review platforms and how to best use them to each property s advantage. Reviews application analytics and optimizes content accordingly. Integrating layer of social media into all aspects of hotel (happenings packages outlets sales guest communications etc) Researching and experimenting with new and up and coming platforms in order to keep each individual property at the forefront. Creating additional platforms to provide Whatever Whenever service to guests owning and devoting time to proactively discover guest feedback. Liaising with operations to creating custom and personalized experiences for online audiences and property guests to drive long term engagement and loyalty. Managing the review process at each property. Includes responding to both negative and positive guest feedback on all active social channels as well as primary review sites aggregated in the Revinate dashboard. Summarizing of trends and findings for incorporation into staff meetings and internal external reporting. Providing properties with regular analysis strategy best practices and innovation for all defined social platforms Creating and maintaining a social calendar to promote property events and special offers and provide content that fosters two-way brand conversations. Working collaboratively with external social media analysis team to set track and analyze social media goals and successes on each platform to measure and increase impact. Exploring potential for revenue generating possibilities through room sales and outlet retention. Key internal relationships include Brand Management Hotel Operations Field Marketing Public Relations Web & Digital Food & Beverage and Sales. Creating campaigns & photographing content for social platforms. Updating all websites & creating landing pages as necessary. Responsible for all digital marketing efforts. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. RESOURCES REPUTATION MANAGEMENT 5 hours week Monitoring and responding to major in-market review sites. DIGITAL SOCIAL MANAGEMENT 20 hours week Monitoring responding and posting engaging on-brand content via social platforms [Facebook Twitter Instagram Pintrest etc] Deploying all digital marketing campaigns via newsletter website guest communications etc. REPORTING 5 hours week Researching new social platforms analyzing metrics to optimize social RMI engagement and providing recaps to Talent Executive Teams and Ownership. STRATEGY & DEVELOPMENT 10 hours week Conversation calendar planning and maintenance meeting with Director of Marketing and W Insider attending PR meetings networking at industry appropriate events. KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS EXPERIENCE 1-3 years of combined work experience with at least 1 year in a digital marketing role at a leading brand organization. Demonstrated and extensive experience in social media with in-depth knowledge and understanding of current and emerging platforms. An enthusiasm for brand passions and ability to bring brand identity to life through an authentic and consistent voice across multiple properties. Experience in customer service is a plus. Strong written communication skills strong project management and organizational skills flexible schedule sound decision making and analytical capability. A results driven individual with a bias for action that can transform strong relationships networks into impactful tangible business results. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple internal and external teams. Bachelor Degree in relevant field Masters is a plus Understanding or eagerness to become an expert in the landscape of Marriott social platforms Marriott Ratings & Reviews Marriott Social Media Facebook Marriott Social Media Twitter management platform.
