Job Description Responsible for overall maintenance which includes ensuring that equipment is operated and maintained according to manufacturer specifications work performed meets safety requirements and all maintenance workers follow appropriate federal and state safety guidelines.Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate with outside contractors to perform activities repairs preventive maintenance on production line and building equipment as well as building and grounds appearance. Manage all related maintenance supplies and plant equipment repair parts for all equipment in facility. Oversee new production line set up to physical movement of production lines. Creating and following Preventive Maintenance (PM s) schedules and overseeing a staff of maintenance as well as inspecting and testing equipment or building systems. Responsible for scheduling employees and managing the work load and projects. Read More...Ability to handle high speed manufacturing demands as well as multi shift activities. Knowledge of computer use in order to generate budgets prepare policies etc. Responsible to be on-site reviewing staff members performance making repairs and or inspecting the condition of the facility. In addition to technical knowledge must have knowledge of Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) (the application of preventive maintenance strategies in an organized and standardized method and excellent time management skills). Able to coordinate and meet multiple deadlines. Must have good communication skills in order to effectively direct staff interact with vendors and report to other organization staff. Attention to detail and have the ability to follow specific technical specifications and instructions is a must. Coordinate the maintenance and repair of machines to avoid downtime and delays. Ensure production process and machinery are in compliance with customer specifications and professional and safety standards Oversee and direct maintenance personnel equipment installation facilities equipment repair and preventative maintenance. Inspect and evaluate physical plant grounds and related equipment. Work Experience Requirements An associate s degree with additional coursework in maintenance engineering mechanical engineering or industrial engineering is a plus.
