Family Facets is seeking to hire an LPC or LCSW for Boone County and surrounding areas (as well as St. Louis City & County). Our Therapy Program is a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to support healing and growth. This position will provide both in-home and in-office therapy services to children adolescents and families and will provide a range of diagnostic assessments and therapeutic services to children and their families. The ideal candidate has experience and passion for the child welfare community trauma-informed practices lifelong learning and will be able to build clientele to full-time status within 6 months. Therapists work under the direct guidance of the Clinical Director of the Family Facets Therapy Program.QualificationsRequires LPC or LCSW licensure.ResponsibilitiesProvide treatment along the continuum of care for clients including engagement assessment intervention and evaluation. Responsibilities include completion of diagnostic assessments treatment plans progress notes quarterly updates to referral sources and discharges plans. Provide in-home and in-office therapy for children adolescents and adults.Consult as a member of a team weekly to gain insight and develop as a practitioner. Attend quarterly therapy retreats. Participate in Peer Record Reviews quarterly as a part of agency Quality Assurance Program.Maintain licensure with ongoing continuing education as designated by professional licensure board.Knowledge Skills & Abilities Knowledge and understanding of clinical social work and mental health principles trends methods procedures and standards.Knowledge of diagnostic and evaluation administration scoring and interpretation.Ability to apply mental health counseling methods and techniques.Ability to maintain emotional stability to cope with human suffering emergencies and other stresses.Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to patients rights.Knowledge of community mental health resources.CompensationA percentage of the fees received by Family Facets and based on experience and licensure.
