Its business focus is on acquisition & upgrading of residential properties and managing its own portfolio of over 10 000 residential apartments in five major cities across Canada.Position Summary We are hiring Pest Control Technician who will be responsible for all pest control related duties in their assigned location(s) within a residential multi-family setting. Key Duties and Responsibilities Inspect buildings and outside areas as required to identify infestation source Study preliminary reports and or diagrams of infested area and determine treatment type required Check suites to confirm if they are prepared for pest treatment and physically prepare suites if they are not prepared Treat infested areas by preparing and spraying chemical mixtures Place and set traps and install other animal control barriers Fumigate buildings as required Ensure that all work is documented and updated according to Company s policy Other duties as assigned by Regional Manager Qualifications and Requirements Completion of secondary school Must possess provincial pesticide applicator license Valid First Aid and CPR certificate will be an asset Must have at least 1 year of pest control work experience Prior pest control experience in a residential multi-family environment will be an asset Must possess a valid driver s license and a reliable vehicle Must successfully complete a security clearance Flexible to work days weekends overtime and on-calls How to Apply If this sounds like you we encourage you to submit your cover letter and resume quoting Job No. 2026112 in the subject line to our email address or visit our website for more information (www.mainst.biz).Although we thank all applicants for applying only those considered for further discussion will be contacted.
