An original equipment manufacturer located in the Youngstown metro area is seeking a buyer experienced with the outsourcing of machining fabrication and welding operations. The responsibilities of this position will include identifying and developing new sources of supply in the Youngstown area managing costs and delivery schedules and coordinating the interaction between service vendors and internal departments. This role requires the ability to read and interpret prints professional communication skills and the wherewithal to follow projects from concept to completion. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Undergraduate degree (non-degreed candidates with strong direct experience will be considered) Experience with the outsourcing of welding machining and fabrication services Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience with reviewing proposals estimates and tracking expediting purchases Strong communication computer and math skills Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Salary 49 000 to 56 000 Permanent Position with Benefits Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
