Need a puppie

We had a german shepard die of cancer about a month ago. we had bought him a golden retriever (female) to have someone to play with. Now she is lost without him but she is still pretty young. and very playful. our pets are like one of the family. they get very spoiled here. so not to worry about how the puppie would be treated. but im really not willing to pay alot for just a playmate for her. but would like a middle sized good natured dog male. so if anyone has what im looking for that would be great. thanks for reading this add.
