Application Developer

This position will develop implement and maintain information systems for the nine campuses in the OSU A& M System. Duties include clear and concise communication with end uses understanding project requirements and performing systems analysis and design coding testing implementation and documentation. The support environment includes Banner 8 9 application support application database and web development (PHP Java HTML CSS JavaScript Oracle PL SQL XSLT) Section 508 WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility and authentication (CAS Shib SAML2). Salary commensurate with knowledge and ability. Due to communication expectations of the position the incumbent will be required to maintain cellular or other electronic communication device. The incumbent s salary includes additional compensation to apply toward the use of their personal cellular device. Periodically this position requires work after normal working hours weekends and holidays. Minimum qualifications High School GED and six months of related work experience. The position requires the ability to be creative and work on projects independently or as a member of a project team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary in order to communicate effectively with other technical staff and end users at all of the OSU A& M Campuses. Must be familiar with application development methodologies Linux Windows OS W3C 508 standards and cyber security best practices. Some experience with Banner 8 9 Student Human Resources and Financial application RDBMS SQL PL SQL Php HTML 5 XML Java Script JAVA.
