Please apply online at www.mepservices.com West Michigan Aviation Academy is looking for a candidate who is passionate about soccer and willing to devote his her time to plan develop organize and coach the soccer program. The soccer coach and Athletic Director will begin developing the boys soccer program to prepare for MHSAA athletic competition during the fall of 2015. Qualifications A belief in West Michigan Aviation Academy s vision for its student athletes West Michigan Aviation Academy student athletes will pursue academic and athletic excellence through participation in a high-quality athletic program which is devoted to maintaining respect acceptance integrity honesty and character. Minimum 2 years coaching experience at the secondary level (JV or varsity) Minimum level of competitive experience Varsity (2 years) Flexible time commitment Establish a program that demonstrates good sportsmanship and a focus on academic success CPR First Aid AED certification preferred Requirements Ability to teach and break down basic and advanced skills and strategies Ability to communicate with parents administration and athletes Ability to organize and plan Athletic Program (fall 2015) Plan seasonal goals and objectives for the program At least one fundraising activity to develop and support the soccer program Purchase orders uniforms equipment etc. Daily practice plans Start Date When Possible West Michigan Aviation Academy is a unique innovative regional public charter high school serving students in the greater Grand Rapids area.
