One of our Semi-Government Agency client is looking for Program Manager (Infrastructure ACES Transformation Exp.) Duration Min 12 Months with possible extension Location Downtown Toronto DESCRIPTION The Information Technology Division is seeking a Stream Lead to provide senior leadership and oversight to the infrastructure of the ACES Program. As a project leader this role will be accountable for delivering and implementing on time and on budget complex business solutions that meet ACES Program expectations. The Stream Lead will deliver multiple concurrent projects to ensure alignment with overall program objectives with a focus on outcomes and deliverables of this large and complex transformation project. The successful candidate will provide senior level program management leadership and oversight of the infrastructure which encompasses project staffing and day-to-day management business case(s) creation requirements gathering and approval data mapping and analysis infrastructure planning and delivery project planning budget forecasting and reporting issues risk escalation management change management project standards and practices and status reporting. This will be accomplished while adhering to established business processes as well as PMO methodologies and IT Security standards. MUST HAVES Knowledge and demonstrated experience with leading complex multi-year infrastructure projects or streams in a senior Program Manager role Leadership and exceptional people management skills to oversee projects effectively manage stakeholder relationships and mitigate adverse impacts to the organization its staff and its clients to build project teams and motivate staff Strong experience in vendor relationship management particularly in complex IT delivery projects Expert prioritization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities and make critical decisions under pressure with limited information Superior relationship management and teamwork skills to engage motivate and manage multi-disciplinary teams and project stakeholders Skilled strategic communicator to present and explain technical concepts and ideas build strong linkages with team members using various vehicles of communication to share information write edit business cases briefing notes procurement documents and technical reports on recommendations related to technology solutions and plans present recommendations to clients managers and directors. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent with a minimum of 15 years demonstrated experience including the ability to independently manage multiple projects prioritize multiple conflicting priorities and to successfully meet program outcomes. Responsibilities Establishes effective governance and control processes for the infrastructure stream of the project Ensures effective alignment and integration with other program streams and deliverables Ensures change management and organizational readiness plans are in place prior to implementation Communication with all project team members about business and governance direction Develops project business case project management plan including schedule and budget and status reporting in alignment with ACES Program expectations Effectively manages project risk and issues for infrastructure and contributes to the broader program risk and risk management plans Ensures post-implementation supportability of delivered solutions and project deliverables Manages and monitors project expenditures against allocated project budget Manages changes to scope resources and schedule through an established change process Reports progress of the project to the Program Director Executive Sponsor and Steering committee including potential impacts to the broader organization. Facilitates issue resolution with project team and escalates unresolved issues as necessary Ensures competent project staff are recruited oriented and provided with ongoing performance feedback Supports project team members in accomplishing project goals Manages the day to day activities of the project May includes travel and variable hours.
