This is a great opportunity to join a security team focused on securing our facility lot and client property while delivering exceptional customer service. Duties include but not limited to The position performs fixed and patrol post functions which are essential to client visitors and employees. Foot patrol of interior and exterior areas assigned. Observe and report suspicious activities and persons write detailed reports and maintain daily activity reports logs. Enforce rules policies and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance. Watch for irregularities such as security breaches facility and safety hazards. Remain alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and or security code violators approach suspicious persons and or notifies police as appropriate may confront and detain violators as required. Use keys to open and close buildings monitor secured buildings for unauthorized persons. Warn violators of private property and smoking and non-smoking areas. Performs periodic checks of streets lights to ensure proper functions and reports all malfunctions and comprehend numerous areas as required. Have the ability to retain instructions and specific knowledge of industry. Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions as necessary. Ability to hear accurately and see in both day and night conditions. Ability to comprehend numerous policies procedures and concept and be able to respond using discretion and interpretive judgment based on general and specific policies. Position Requires Have reliable transportation to work. Need to have reliable source for contact by cell or home phone. Be willing to submit to a drug test for illegal drugs and background check. All positions require shift flexibility and may require night and weekend work.
