Salary 42 464 - 74 313 The ChallengeWe are looking for an experienced Maintenance Construction Technician IV to join our Facilities Management team to resolve facility maintenance issues in state-owned buildings. What You BringExcellent knowledge of building codes. Ability to perform at the journey level in 2 of the following trades electrical plumbing HVAC carpentry masonry or plastering. Working knowledge of the methods practices tools and materials used in general maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery. Demonstrated ability to understand interpret and work from sketches drawings and blueprints read and interpret building codes and follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to direct the work of other skilled workers. Demonstrated ability to plan projects assign tasks and ensure project deadlines are met. NotesYou may be required to work at another facility as directed by your Supervisor or lead mechanic. Unscheduled overtime may be required during building emergencies and the role involves callbacks to assist with building emergencies after hours on weekends and on holidays. You will need to work during bad weather conditions. We may require current certification by the EPA as a Type I II Ill or Universal technician as required by 40 CFR part 82 subpart F.
