NEW HIGHER SALARY 38 516 - 67 404 The ChallengeWe are hiring a laboratory technician to join our Asphalt Testing Lab team. In this role you will Conduct Superpave AASHTO and ASTM tests in the Asphalt Performance Testing Laboratory. Accurately communicate test results to the Asphalt Materials Design Engineer. Perform detailed testing and analysis of asphalt viscosity rheology and aging. Maintain and ensure the cleanliness of laboratory equipment. Assist our lead testing technician in upholding AASHTO re Source accreditation standards. Collaborate with the Asphalt Quality Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve asphalt PG performance issues related to production storage or distribution of bituminous products. What You BringKnowledge of techniques practices and testing procedures related to asphalt materials. Computer experience using Microsoft Office and HiCAMS. Experience coordinating and communicating effectively with other team members to achieve a common goal. Experience creating and maintaining routine records and reports. Experience safely handling laboratory equipment. You are a collaborative team player who thrives in a team environment and contributes positively to group dynamics. You are a curious and eager learner who is proactive and always willing to expand your knowledge and skills. You are an innovative thinker with a creative mind who can think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table. Education & ExperienceAssociate s degree in Engineering Technology or a related field and 2 years relevant technician-level experience or An equivalent combination of training and experience.
