In this role you will Perform technical duties supporting engineers and other professionals in construction materials testing design surveys and program regulatory compliance. Conduct compliance and code inspections. Analyze field and engineering-related data. Perform materials testing. Conduct reviews mediation and design of plan. Analyze products and functions. What you BringConsiderable knowledge and understanding of NCDOT concepts practices and theories used in highway construction. Experience maintaining detailed records and reports. Computer skills in Microsoft Office and using a laptop iPad. Contract administration knowledge to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with NCDOT specifications standard drawings and policies. Math proficiency in functions including algebra geometry & trigonometry. Ability to safely drive a State vehicle. Safety toe footwear. Education and ExperienceAssociate s degree in Engineering Technology Survey Technology or a related field or 2 years of engineering technician-related work or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
