Job description DATCAM AUTOMATION is looking for Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.A Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing Tools. Responsibilities 1. Design and develop mechanical systems Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed design drawings and models for mechanical components and systems. 2. Develop prototypes Create and test prototypes of mechanical components and systems to ensure they meet technical specifications and design requirements. 3. Troubleshoot and problem-solve Identify and solve technical problems related to mechanical components and systems. 4. Perform design analysis Use analytical tools to assess the performance reliability and safety of mechanical designs. Requirements 1. Proficient in CAD software Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD or CATIA. 2. Knowledge of mechanical design principles In-depth understanding of mechanical design principles including mechanics thermodynamics and materials science. 3. Familiarity with engineering standards Knowledge of engineering standards such as ASME ASTM and ISO and regulatory requirements. 4. Problem-solving skills Ability to identify and solve technical problems related to mechanical components and systems. 5. Experience with prototyping and testing Experience with prototyping and testing mechanical components and systems. 6. Analytical skills Ability to use analytical tools to assess the performance reliability and safety of mechanical designs.
