Assists with knowledge sharing payor and department training and offers support to other team members as directed by the manager and or supervisor. Trains new hires in billing posting and AR. Addresses routine insurance billing inquiries and problems within departmental standards. Adheres to established departmental workflows within the electronic health record system selecting appropriate work queues in response to correspondence reports data and requests received. Processes financial and insurance correspondence related to billing functions. Meets departmental productivity and quality standards. Completes claim edits on time correctly and promptly. Documents clear concise and complete notes in the system for each account worked.
