(Depending on experience)Hours Monday Friday Day ShiftJob type Temp to HireLocation Catoosa OklahomaJoin our team as a Machine Operator setting up and operating power brakes to bend notch and form metal plates and sheets to blueprint specifications.What you ll be doing Set up and operate power brake machines to bend notch punch and form metal plates or sheets according to blueprints or sketches. Select position and align dies in the machine and adjust pressure and clearance settings. Perform layout work from blueprints or templates manually positioning workpieces or using cranes for alignment. Operate the machine to bend or cut metal set stops for successive operations and verify workpiece dimensions. Adjust machine settings including rake and blade pressure and position stops and guides for accurate cuts. Must-Have Qualifications Proven ability to set up and operate power brakes and other metalworking machinery. Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints or sketches for layout and alignment. Strong mechanical skills with attention to detail in metal forming and cutting operations. Ability to work with precision ensuring accurate dimensions and quality results.
