(Based on experience)Hours Monday-Friday 7AM-3 30PMJob type Temp to HireLocation Tulsa OklahomaJob Description A Tulsa OK company is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join their team This role involves inspecting documenting and verifying the conformance of received items and manufactured products to defined standards.What you ll be doing Receive visually inspect count and check in all received items processing documents and recording information. Conduct a variety of visual dimensional non-destructive and monitoring inspections to verify conformance to defined requirements. Use precision measuring and inspection tools to ensure parts conform to engineered drawings and verify operator inspection records. Perform visual inspections dimensional checks first article inspections on the floor and final inspections to ensure items meet required standards. Document non-conformances and make acceptance or rejection decisions where appropriate. Conduct inspections at outside vendors certifying the acceptability of machined parts and assemblies. Operate overhead cranes and material-moving equipment to move received items to designated areas. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion and perform other duties as assigned. Inspect and certify that precision instruments meet acceptable standards perform minor repairs and service gauges and inspection tools. Issue and maintain thread gauges micrometers dial bore gauges and other precision measuring instruments. Follow appropriate handling and disposal of hazardous waste in compliance with EPA regulations. Adhere to established safety practices and facility safety rules producing quality work on time in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements. Must-Have Qualifications Completion of two to four years of Trade or Technical School or equivalent experience. 3 to 5 years of experience in quality control inspection. Proficiency in advanced shop mathematics and the use of complicated drawings specifications charts and precision measuring instruments. Physical ability to stand walk bend kneel twist and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Good hand eye coordination (eye test required) and ability to work in hot cold environments.
