NEW HIGHER SALARY 34 936 - 61 137 The ChallengeWe are looking for an entry-Level Survey Engineering Technician to join our Randolph County engineering team. In this role you will Perform technical work supporting senior technicians and engineers in route location surveying. Do standardized and non-standardized tasks and assignments compiling analyzing computing editing and processing field data. Apply mature decision making and good judgment. Perform calculations and computations. Work inside and outside in all environmental conditions. Work as a part of an engineering survey crew under the supervision of senior technicians and engineers. Perform basic field and office technical assignments relating to highway route location survey projects. Operate survey instruments CADD. and computer applications in surveying creating plan sheets and creating managing survey data including hydraulic surveys complex horizontal alignments and setting photogrammetric controls property condemnation and Global Positioning System (GPS) field work. Operate Electronic Engineering Survey and CADD equipment. Complete Courthouse research. Maintain safety of self the team and the worksite. What You BringDemonstrated ability to verbally communicate technical information including via handheld radio. Computer skills to perform basic internet tasks such as online property searches. Basic math skills in geometry trigonometry and algebra. Demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written procedures and instructions. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member in less complex assignments such as collecting data or photogrammetric topographical features in the field for plan sheet preparation. Education & ExperienceAssociate s degree in Engineering Technology Survey Technology or a related field or An equivalent combination of training and experience.
