Additionally diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues is crucial followed by implementing appropriate repairs. Regular safety inspections are conducted to identify and mitigate potential hazards ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Repairing or replacing damaged or malfunctioning components such as engines brakes transmissions and steering mechanisms is also part of the job. Detailed records of maintenance and repair work including parts used and labor hours are meticulously maintained. After repairs performance tests are conducted to verify proper functionality and safety compliance. Collaborating with team members to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks minimizes downtime. Providing training and guidance to operators on proper forklift usage and maintenance procedures is essential. Staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in forklifts enhances maintenance practices and operational efficiency.Requirements Must have extensive experience as a forklift mechanic. Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repairs. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects as the role may involve manual handling. Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors. Must have a valid driver s license.
