Staff Accountant - Stow OH - JOB 24-00497Salary 60 000 Permanent Position with Benefits We are looking for a Staff Accountant for a company that provides comprehensive accounting tax payroll and business advisory services to a variety of clients and industries including real estate franchisees construction manufacturing service and not-for-profit.Summary of Responsibilities The Staff Accountant should have experience with both taxes and preparing and reviewing financial documents reports and statements. This job requires a person to be dependable detail oriented have good communication skills and be able to perform the following responsibilities.Responsibilities Review and prepare general ledger accounts and adjusting journal entries Prepare monthly balance sheets income and profit and loss statements Perform account analysis and bank reconciliations Maintain general ledger charts of accounts fixed assets and depreciation and update accounting records and files Prep year end general ledger to trial balance Prepare and finalize tax returns for corporations partnerships and individuals Analyze financial data and create Excel spreadsheets for tax projections Conduct month end closing procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Skills and Abilities Work as a member of a team Time management and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Detail oriented and highly organization Good communications skills Educational Experience B.S. Accounting Minimum three years accounting experience Experience closing books for small businesses highly desired Excellent knowledge of Word Excel and QuickBooks Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
