Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer - Cleveland Ohio - JOB 24-00154Salary Range 100K Permanent Position with Benefits. Solon Area Company is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer. Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer are the dynamics in Electro-Mechanical product design. Create Bill of Materials. Provide technical assistance to sales customer service and client as needed. Develop an environment of continual improvement using Agile and Lean tools. Give presentations to high level customers while representing team in design reviews and cross-organizational teams. Mentoring of other Engineers.Requirements Master s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical System or other relevant Engineering field required. Must have fifteen (15) years experience in Mechanical Engineering. Past Managerial experience highly desired. Must have experience designing parts and assemblies for RF electronic devices using 3D CAD. Must have experience with 3D CAD and data management tools (Solid Edge Design Manager ERP and PCBA import) Must have experience with BOM s GD& T Tolerances and surface finish. Must have experience with the following mechanical design techniques (electronic assemblies sheet metal fabrication machined parts injection-molded etc.) Must have rapid prototyping techniques for machining forming and injection molding. Must have experience with the root cause and corrective action. Must have excellent communication skills (verbal & written) Must be very detailed oriented. Must have good organizational skills.
