The PeopleReady located at Ayr Ontario N0B 1E0 is currently hiring a PR 1400722 Facility Manager Job Description Facility Manager PeopleReady of Ayr ON is now hiring Facility Managers Our client is looking for a candidate to manage the day-to-day operations of an automobile loading and unloading facility while collaborating with Customers and Contractors to develop and implement daily production plans.As a facility manager you will supervise an team of up to 20 employees manage daily staffing requirements and held daily team meetings to highlight safety concerns and assign responsibilities to the crews.You will be required to assist the drivers with unloading and loading vehicles from railcars as well as driving the vehicles in the company s area.This is a full time opportunity for candidates that are comfortable with multitasking to oversee different aspects of the facility s operation. Safety Coordinator - daily staff briefing and monthly meeting Payroll maintenance. Reviewed daily production reports to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs). Remained up-to-date on all cross training to provide hands-on leadership and support to employees to ensure daily objectives were achieved. Delivered training and mentorship to new employees to ensure company standards wereadhered to. Liaised with third party carriers to plan and schedule shipments to meet client s deadlines. Perform HR duties including interviewing hiring onboarding training disciplinary actions andterminations Available shifts Shift timings -1st Shift (Day) Job requirements Load and unload of vehicles involving both bi-level and tri-level railcars The shuttle of vehicles off and onto railcars to and from inventory locations within the automotive compound Apply and remove securement devices from units on railcars Provide visual inspections prior to any movement from railcar or staging area Assist with inventory control activities Placement of correct floor mats in proper units post offload. Ability to boost units and re-fuel when required.
