In this role you will Perform preventive maintenance inspections repairs and rebuildings of gas diesel-powered light to heavy equipment in the DOT fleet. Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on light medium and heavy-duty vehicles equipment. Repair rebuild and maintain light or heavy equipment. Prepare new equipment for use across our 14 highway divisions. Communicate with customers to ensure accurate description of complaints. Deal with suppliers to purchase the correct materials. What You BringKnowledge of the techniques methods used in determining and solving mechanical problems. Experience and knowledge how to use diagnostic tools. Ability to read understand and explain technical and instructional manuals. Experience performing preventive maintenance on 1 of the following light medium heavy-duty trucks and heavy construction equipment. NoteWe may require EPA certification as a Type I II III or Universal technician. Education & ExperienceHigh School GED diploma or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
