About Us As one of the largest retirement homes in Richmond city Oak Tree House Inc. recruits 1 Information System Manager.Whether in the public sectors or private companies retirement home spaces in Canada are so tight that the average waiting time for each applicant is more than 2 years. To cope with this situation we provide remote home care services for the elderly which poses a great challenge to our remote hardware facilities and information systems.We are seeking a talented and experienced Information Systems Manager to drive our technology strategy and ensure the seamless operation of our information systems. Duties Managing IT staff by overseeing recruiting and training employees Monitoring daily performance of IT systems including computers programs and networks Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure Installing new upgrades for hardware and software Developing data backup systems and disaster recovery contingencies Plan and control budget and expenditures Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems Authorize the development of specifications for products or services Assign co-ordinate and review projects and programs Plan organize direct control and evaluate daily operations Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with organizational goals .
