With over 15 years of expertise in the wholesale meat industry catering to both supermarkets and restaurant chains we are expanding our operations and seeking to hire two full-time Wholesale Butchers. Job Duties Cut trim and prepare custom and standard cuts of meat Remove bones from meat Cut poultry into parts Weigh wrap and package fresh or frozen or prepared meats and poultry Prepare meat for delivery Manage inventory keep records and determine amount product line and freshness of products according to company and customer requirement Ensure food storage conditions are adequate Regularly clean the counters to reduce the risk of food contamination and adhere to food safety guidelines Follow all safety regulations and support others in working safety Qualifications Secondary (High) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience butcher knife experience Experience in meat processing or food handling and or storage is an asset Ability to stand and perform repetitive physical tasks Self-motivation with positive attitude Excellent hand-eye coordination skills Available to work with a flexible schedule including after hours and or weekends if needed.
