L.P. CUSTOM MACHINING LTD. is looking for full-time Heavy CNC Machinist at 211 Barton Street Stoney Creek Ontario L8E 2K3. There are 10 positions available. Main duties are as follows but not limited to Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed and plan best sequence of operations with CNC programming skills. Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces Set up operate and maintain a variety of CNC machine tools to perform precision non-repetitive machining operations such as vertical milling machine 3-4 axis. Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools. Ability to utilize measurement instruments to control product quality through manufacturing process. Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments Have experience with parts over 500lbs Hours of work are 42.5 hours per week Mon-Fri. Pay is 28 hour. Successful candidates must speak English and have completed secondary school.
