Currently we are looking for a qualified Cook in order to create a variety of dishes for breakfast lunch and dinner. V8G 1R6 Job Duties Plan prepare and cook menu items from the menu Supervise and train kitchen staff and monitor their work performance Oversee the daily operation of the kitchen and coordinate the shift schedule of kitchen staff Clean and sanitize the work area Participate in menu planning and portioning of the dish and provide garnishment Ensure food quality meets the standard of Bear Country Inn Monitor and manage inventory of food ingredients supplies and equipment and place an order in a timely manner. Job Requirements Completion of secondary school is usually required Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks OR completion of college or other programs in cooking or food safety OR several years of commercial cooking experience may be required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a great team player Working knowledge of English.
