Will determine and select machine procedures tooling requirements and control settings. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints material planning sheets sketches or related technical data to calculate and create cutting and punching programs following blueprints with minimal material usage. Will start machine monitor displays as well as machine operation to detect malfunctions observe and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions such as worn or damaged cutting tools or punching. Identifies correct material use as per Bill of Material (BOM).
