Job descriptionWe are looking for a indoor outdoor Material Handler to help organize our storage areas and maintain our inventory. Your job will be to prepare and fulfill orders fast and correctly so we can provide high-quality customer service. Material Handlers are integral warehouse workers. The main material handler duties revolve around placing incoming orders on shelves and picking merchandise according to specific customer requirements. As a Material Handler you ll monitor inventory and communicate any shortages. You should have great attention to detail to maintain accurate records. Physical strength is required since you may often need to lift packages by hand. If you re reliable and fast on your feet we d like to meet you.ResponsibilitiesCheck incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards Load and unload materials within the warehouse and storage facility. Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts hand trucks hoist or any other equipment needed to move from trucks to storage. Entering product non-conformances into QCBD Pull material to fulfill orders properly Wrap orders and place them on trucks for delivery Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed Conducting cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy experience needed Document orders materials and any stock movements Skills Proven experience as a Material HandlerManufacturing environment needed. Construction Background Familiarity with Microsoft Excel Smart Devices & RF devices is a plus Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts pallet jacks Hand trucks Strong communication skills Dexterity and attention to detail Organizational skills ( Manage time effectively) Demonstrates strong leadership skills and aware of health & safety protocols License to operate sit down forklifts ( 1-2 years experience) Availability to occasionally work overtime Bilingual- Spanish Speaking a must High school diploma or GED required Physical DemandsAbility to meet the physical demands of the job Able to stand for long periods of time Able to lift 50 lbs Able & willing to work outdoors 50% of the time. Shift 6 30-3 00 pmShift-12 30-9 00 pm-The first 90 days must work morning shift 6 30am-3pm for training. After training is complete employee will work the 2nd shift.Job Type Full-timePay 19.00-20.00 hr
