Reliability Engineer

SUMMARY Management Business Solutions is seeking a Reliability Engineer for its client in the City of Industry CA. The person will be responsible for identifying and managing asset reliability risks to reduce risks. Relocation is offered for this position.RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct in-depth analysis and root cause analysis of equipment failures. Communicate findings to leadership and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence. Monitor and track line equipment availability and operation efficiency issues using internal software. Develop solutions to address repetitive failures and other issues affecting plant operations. Work within a cross functional team to work on improvements. Collaborate with planners and maintenance supervisors for execution of planned downtime and outages. Lead optimization efforts for Preventive and Predictive Maintenance. Manage asset-related aspects including critical spares Bill of Materials (BOM) asset criticality and maintenance strategies. Develop and deliver training sessions for Electricians and Mechanics on basic PLC knowledge. Upgrade control systems for new equipment software and standards. Modify PLC programs and HMI as needed ensuring timely backup and troubleshooting using PLC. Participate in the final check-out of new installations including acceptance tests and inspection criteria. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in industrial Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required. 5 years of experience in Maintenance Reliability Production Management Engineering or Operations required. Prior experience or educational background in the aluminum industry required. Extensive familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives and tools related to the detection and analysis of failures. Prior knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations required.
