Why does the job exist IT Application Developers work with customers and IT team members to understand stakeholder requirements which guide the analysis and design of applications relevant to the firm s purpose and business. Developers design and implement the software s development release deployment and configuration functions. This includes application development testing debugging and documentation. Other responsibilities include gathering requirements from internal business partners developing and architecting solutions implementing updating them creating and executing test plans doing quality checks managing operations and triaging and addressing operational issues. Under direct supervision design develop install configure code test and document software applications solutions. A more experienced application developer and or team leader benefits from working on smaller more complex projects.How does it get done Independently or with a team performs the development of new or improved applications processes or techniques to support the application systems including Salesforce. Using Apex Visual Force Lighting Components Omni scripts and other tools Regulation and Licensing Department (RLD) supports our application system platforms.
