HR Assistant

It is the responsibility of the HR Office Assistant to perform various office administrative duties to support Human Resources& Safety and the overall business operation in Casa Grande AZESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProvides customer service in person via email and over the phone to various internal and external customers Assists in the onboarding and orientation for new employees. Work closely with Staffing agencies Audits timecards and works with supervisors to resolve discrepancies. Performs data entry of payroll information in HRIS and other systems File and maintain various records Serves as point of contact for employee leave of absences Assists in various employee relations matters including workers compensation Ensures employee training and or certifications are completed in a timely manner. responsible safety job responsibilities such as Safety Trainings Safety Audits HR Safety Reports injury reports and all other safety related job duties Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safe Quality Foods (SQF) policies and maintain superior plant cleanliness. Adheres to all safety practices including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Follows all established company policies and practices. Conduct all other HR Safety related job duties. Other required abilities include reading calculation measuring planning interpreting explaining compiling and communicating verbally.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.Will work in a mostly indoor office environment and occasionally in an indoor manufacturing environment in temperature levels.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet however louder noise levels may be experienced when production is occurring or when maintenance work is being performed.
