Active Transportation Project Manager - (Hybrid) Akron OH - JOB 23-00927Salary Range 80K - 115K Permanent Position with Benefits. A growing full service civil & environmental engineering consulting firm is seeking to hire a qualified Project Manager to plan and manage projects. Projects may include trails roadways sidewalks green and complete streets and active transportation projects for ODOT LPA and Non-LPA clients throughout the state of Ohio. Additional projects may include community planning active and passive park work including green ways waterfront etc. This position will provide technical and client management project leadership.Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Landscape Architecture Planning or a related field 8 years of experience Experience in trail and or multi-modal transportation or the motivation to learn this specialty is required Understanding of plan production task management schedule and budget management Willingness to train mentor and lead individuals within the department PLA RLA AICP PE or other relevant certifications are preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office CAD and other industry-based software Advanced communication and interpersonal skills Advanced analytical and creative thinking skills Advanced leadership and organizational skills within a team environment Advanced presentation skills and comfort working with clients Position Type Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position that has the availability to work hybrid. Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day. Must have a valid driver s license and possess a driving record that will enable the employee to be insurable under the Company s standard vehicle insurance and general comprehensive liability insurance without additional costs to the Company.
