Record journal entries and ensure the reconciliation of accounts. Additionally maintain general ledgers and generate financial statements as needed. Handle the calculation and preparation of checks for payroll processing as well as for utility tax and other bills. Complete and submit necessary tax remittance forms workers compensation forms pension contribution forms and other relevant government documents in a timely manner. Assist in the preparation of tax returns. Prepare statistical financial and accounting reports based on operations to provide decision support to management. Requirements At least a secondary school graduate. Completion of courses in accounting bookkeeping or a related field. At least 2 years of related work experience. Proficiency in commonly used bookkeeping software (e.g. QuickBooks NetSuite or similar platforms).
